It began over espresso.
A pasta club for friends and family. A cousin with a lifetime in hospitality. A dining room in Park Ridge that turns into a supper club when the sun goes down.
How we got here
- The pandemic
Nicolas starts a friends-and-family pasta club, making pasta on a KitchenAid attachment and delivering kits.
- Jersey City
That Pasta Club grows into farmers markets, catering and restaurant wholesale.
- May 2022
Nicolas teams up with his cousin Tommy Greco, and the idea for a supper club takes shape over espresso.
- Park Ridge
That Supper Club opens at 7 Hawthorne Avenue, the same room that serves as Pop Empanada by day. Four years on, it is still not a pop-up.
The people
Chef Nicolas Pescatore
Grew up in Hillsdale and chose culinary school after a music festival changed his mind about what he wanted to do. He cooked at Nobu before building That Pasta Club.
Tommy Greco
Nicolas's cousin, with decades in New York hospitality. He owns Pop Empanada, welcomes every guest and introduces each course.
Pia
Tommy's wife and part of the small family team that makes every Supper Club night feel personal.
One brand, one experience
